Just boot may have killed my iphone.

i had to jailbreak my ipod and restore because i dont have teh sim tray for it. it was booting up with a tethered jb without cydia showing up. i had limited use of it in this mode. i opened redsnow and hti just boot and after installing the packages it got stuck on waiting for reboot. i had to manually turn it off and reboot it. back to tethered mode. i try again with a better chord and it gets stuck again. this time when i turn it off it wont let me manually reboot and wont turn on or go into dfu mode.i dont see how it could have bricked but i need help desperately.
