iPad Mini As Useful As A BRICK!

Hi!
I was recently playing Candy Crush on my iPad Mini (which was still on iOS6) and it completely froze and switched off to a black screen!
I have tried everything from a basic recovery to putting it into DFU mode and attempting recovery that way!
After each time it just goes back to being stuck on the Apple logo loop or a black lit screen, which eventually leads back to the loop!
I have tried multiple recoveries (DFU and normal) but nothing!
PLEASE help!
P.S. Whilst I completed the restore it has now updated the iPad to iOS7 and it's really odd how in iTunes it picks the iPad up and I can even sync my music to it!
