redsn0w ios 6.1.3 stuck after a cydia install

JB my iPhone 4 two days ago using redsn0w tethered, all was well until I installed a cydia app (Vibrafications) that required a reboot. Up until now, all installs only required a respring. I turned the device off, and attempted to boot using redsn0w. Now it hangs at the pineapple logo. Tried to redo the JB, which seemed successful, but it still hangs on the pineapple load. If I could get into mobilesubstrate safe mode, I can uninstall the package-- but I can't seem to boot into safe mode with the tethered JB. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
