iOS 7 Jailbreak advise needed

Ok so I just jail broke my iPod and just finished reading that cydia for iOS 7 is not even done, and I'm wondering if I should reset my iPod to factory default on iOS 7.0.4 before iOS 7 comes out so I can keep the jailbreak but I don't want to restart, so what I want to know is that for updating cydia will I have to re-jailbreak to get it or will it update itself in the app? Thank you I'm advance
