help restore

i been checking for a jailbreak for months to only have to deal with this bs. Anyway I backed up my phone with itunes before trying to jailbreak. Anyone know where the file is located on xp?
I did the evasion jailbreak. but backed up my phone before i did. Everything looked like it was gonna work. it said it was restarting and said hit done but it got stuck on apple logo.
I have 7.0.3 and i wanna restore it back without updating and risking messing it up more. when I backed it up i dont know where file backup file got stored. When i go to itunes hold down shift and hit restore it pulls up something to find the file? does anyone know where the file is? dont mind me being all over the place im kinda heated rite now .. somebody help me out thanks

my other option is to update itunes and restore it that way wich i dont wanna do

ok i figured out where the fille is but when i hold shift and hit recover in itunes i locate the file and it wont open
I had to show hidden files to locate it ... c/doc settings/ username. applicationdata/applecomputer/mobilesync
