non OTA upgrade from 5.0.1 to 6.1.3?

gonna try p0sixspwn 1.0.4 on my 4S. Currently jailbroken on 5.0.1. I have seen some comments that the p0sixspwn has some issued with 6.1.3 that is OTA. But iTunes will only install 7.0.4, which I do not want.

    It is not possible to upgrade to iOS 6.1.3 as Apple has stopped signing the firmware file.

    It is probably a good time to upgrade to iOS 7.0.4 as there is a jailbreak available currently. You won't be able to jailbreak if iOS 7.1 is out.

    Yes, I guess resistance is futile. Decided to try the OTA upgrade to 6.1.3 which then asks to connect to iTunes...and updates to 7.0.4 whether I like it or not. It's finishing up the restore now.

    I'm hoping evasi0n7 goes okay.

    It's pretty clear to me now that if one wishes to jailbreak they need to keep up with them and use them when available.

    Of course not a single of my Cydia apps work. Not one.
