connection issues

hi all i have an ipad mini its version is 7.0.4 i download the corresponding version and when i get to the screen that says plug in device, it says error device has passcode lock, however i disabled this when it told me to........... is there anyway to get around this??

If your device is still under warranty you can ask help from Apple's customer support. I hope it can help.
