camera roll access in recovery mode iphone 4s

Trying to get photos from an iPhone 4s that is stuck in recovery mode due to water damage. Unable to get out of recovery using tiny umbrella or I recboot. Any ideas would be grateful. Can't restore them from the backup either as the photos were never backed up locally through itunes or sync'd to icloud. I have tried on a Windows pc, macbook, and Linux machine, even a chromebook all without success. Just shows the connect to iTunes logo whenever connected. Don't want to restore through itunes as this will wipe the device. thanks.

Did you not synchronized your Iphone to any social media account like facebook? If you did, you can see all the synchronized photos on your facebook album.. That's all I can share.
