If you have to LOOK at the controls to use them then it's not a good idea. I never thought a touch screen would be good for controlling your car like that, especially while driving of course. Now, maybe if it used the accelerometer and leaning it left or right did something, but even THAT is limited in its use. Just use it as an ipod connection/cell phone/gps.
