Iphone 5S on 7.0.3 wanting to jailbreak

Unfortunately I missed out updating to 7.0.6 and I dont want 7.1, are there any reasons why I should not use the current version of evasion to jailbreak from my current 7.0.3 version. Also, I noticed that 7.1 is already downloaded but not applied to the phone, will there be any way to erase the update, (takes up a lot of space)
Finally, any pitfalls I should be aware of?

As I have heard once you already updated your IOS, you can't do anything about it at all. Anyhow, this is not a fact yet, I hope you can fix it up though.

There are quite a few bugs and improvements in iOS 7.1, and more importantly a critical SSL bug was fixed in iOS 7.0.6.

If you do decide to jailbreak iOS 7.0.3 then don't forget to install the SSL patch from Cydia to fix the security issue:
