Activate an iPhone 5 without a Sim card - Is it possible?

Hi everyone. I have an iPhone 5 without a Sim card in it. Now, I can BYPASS the activation, but it won't do me any good. I won't be able to do anything once I bypass the activation. Is there a tool that can force the activation on an iPhone 5?
Also, once I have it activated, how can I unlock it? Is that necessary?

Yes you could, but you still need a nano sim card to be installed to activate .
