iphone 5s 7.0.4 jailbroken cydia showing black screen and sometimes wont close

I was downloading a package from cydia and received a call in the middle of downloading now when I open cydia it says that dpkg was interrupted you must manually run dpkg configure -a to correct the problem when I close that screen it goes to cydia's main screen but its black and shows the buttons at the bottom of the screen but nothing works when I close cydia and reopen it it goes to a white screen and wont let me close it I have to soft boot it to get the phone working again I tried to reinstall the jailbreak but cydia still not working right someone please help
