HELP! iphone rebooting during redsn0w jailbreak process

I've jailbroken my old-bootrom 3GS several times and got no problem. Now I do Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 (using ios 6.0 ipsw to get 6.1.6) as in http://www.iphonehacks.com/2014/03/jailbreak-ios-6-1-6-redsn0w-p0sixspwn.html and get this below:

The pineapple logo appears > ... > Replacing Kernel > Flashing NOR > Installing Bundles (1 second) > Rebooting ------------- and the phone reboots to the normal (non-jailbroken) status. I do it over and over and get the same result. My phone is factory unlocked and is on ios 6.1.6.

Not sure if this is because of my windows 7 SP1, or USB cable (not sure if this is authentic or I got this on ebay), or my phone itself (hardware?). Please advice!!!!!

It looks like you haven't tethered boot your device. You should follow steps 14-21 in that tutorial.

jt's normal , you have to put twice your iPhone 4 in DFU mode !!!

I did tether boot and didn't see Cydia anywhere. My iphone 3GS is old-bootrom and it must be untethered in every jailbreak!

iPhone 3 GS must have Jailbreak for life with iOS 6.1.6

So do this :

1. connect to iTunes
2. put your iPhone 3 GS in recovery mode
3. re-install iOS 6.1.6
4. follow---> THIS

and you will have your iPhone 3 GS untethered jailbroken again ...

True. I had to restore to factory settings thru iTunes (without DFU or recovery mode), and I was able to follow the first 13 steps and jailbreak my phone again!!!!!!!!!

Right, step 14 is use to reeboot !!!

what you have to do is going from
step 13 to step 22 to change your
Jailbreak from tethered to untethered
with installing p0sixspwn Cydia Tweak ...
