I've got a 4S that's been jailbroken on iOS 5.1 since I first got it. I've been quite happy with 5.1 as it's stable and contains many features that subsequent upgrades haven't had or aren't as good (maps for example.) Problem is that now, many apps, mostly financial/banking, no longer support 5.1 and are forcing users to upgrade to at least 6.0 or better. My question is this: I have all the iPSW's for my phone that are jailbreakable up to 7.06. Can I restore my phone using one of these ipsw's, say 6.1.3, and then jailbreak it using the tools available or will I be stuck having to upgrade to the latest iOS which I think is 7.1.something for which an untethered jailbreak is not yet available.
