Redsnow!!!! That's not out yet! Pawnage tool is out for the mac and that's it. And just to so that users out there know the dev team usally always releases the mac tools first. So if you use windows just hold on and when the tools are realeased this web site will keep you posted.

Hey I want to jailbreak my 3Gs. Will the pwnage tool support this in the future? And besides that what other tools can be used currently to jailbreak the 3Gs?

The lack of patience shouldn't surprise me, but it does. I'm still on 3.0 patiently awaiting a new JB method for windows users. I'm just glad they're making progress. Thanks Dev team for all the hard work. It can be a thankless job sometimes I'm sure.

why oh why didn't i check this site to see if the update would affect my jailbroken iphone? The people who haven't done the update are the lucky ones. I'm bored as hell with the apps i got from the app store. Patiently waiting for the news that redsn0w is capable to jailbrake iphone 3gs 3.1

My iphone 3gs was updated to version 3.1.But the modem firmware is 05.11.07. So can i re-jailbreak and unlock it ?

I've adopted the policy of "Don't update right away...ever!". With all the cool JB apps and stuff you have, you don't need it right away. Just hang tight for a new JB solution and you'll be good to go. Heed these words and you shall go far.

Why did any jailbreaker update from 3.0.1 to 3.1? I love the way my phone is setup. Everything is working perfectly. Even if we need 3.1.1 for MMS I'm not doing it. Unless some amazing new feature comes out or 3gs speed or battery life is improved, I'm staying with 3.0.1 for a few months.

alright cool!!! i'm Jailbroken running 3.1 and for anyone that has the Installer app for the desk top it works like a charm on 3.1. Oh and so does the app arranger feature in itunes 9 very jailbreak user friendly even shows app from cydia... altho i haven't tried i with the 5 icon dock yet.
