i have iphone 3g & im on the 3.1 ,so i finally jailbroke my iphone and they came out with the mms update so i updated by mistake and there went my jailbreak had to restore in order for phone to work, can i still jailbreak my iphone?

I got my iphone 3GS 3.0 (Jailbroken and unlocked) freezed on apple's boot logo while installing "IntelliScreen". It wont boot any more. Then I tried to restore to my original firmware 3.0 from itunes. Apple denied to sign the firmware.
What should I do now?

I have bought a factory unlocked iPhone and it came with an OS 3.1

You can only restore to 3.0 if you have sent them your ECID. I would recommend not to restore to 3.1 in any way. I hope that somebody will find the way how to sign 3.0 for iTunes. -

stay away from any cydia software if your 3gs. special sbsettings/ bosspref or anything try to respring.
solution : u know how to use pc suite or iphone browser ?
use these to find the folder intelliscreen and delete it . don't mess up other.
restart the iphone. if it doesn't work , restart few time and let it stay like that over night.
it work for me.
remenber stay away any apps from cydia or you' ll crash -

you should have just bought an already unlocked one because now that it has 3.1 you won't be able to unlock it until a new hack is found

I think I was one of the 50,000 iPhone users who saved ECID on file with Cydia.
While searching for the solution to restore the 3.0 FW, I found the Saurik's method, and it really worked with my iPhone. With his method I restored to 3.0, jailbroked, and ulocked my iPhone.

hi sam, so all u did was backup from when u had the 3.0.1 synced? will that change it to 3.0.1 or will it still be on 3.1 but will be able to JB? also what process did u use to JB? thank u sam.

I just ordered a 3gs from ebay, coming with OS 3.0, jailbroke and unlocked. I am very new to this (first I-Product) and thought I read that I need to create a itunes account, sync the phone on PC to be able to put my MP3s in the phone also to DL from the app store. Is this true? Also I thought it said that itunes will automatically update any firmware, OS or what ever when I sync it? Is this true and how do I avoid going to 3.1??? I need it unlocked more than jailbroken.

I have accidentally upgraded iphone 2G 3.1.2. Now I am not able to make calls due to "No Service".
However, my phone is unlock and jailbrack. Everything is working fine except call service.

OK, i have a jailbroken iphone 3g version 3.0, firmware 04.26.08. i want to re-jailbreak it to the highest version i can without changing my firmware. is that possible? and if so is there instructions how to do so for dummies? i have never jailbroken an iphone and want to try this myself. any info will be helpful
