I've had the 5.0 carrier update that was put out a month or so ago so obviously mine has been working. I only got my sms from AT&T explaining that it's live and to download it yada yada yada. Point is mine has been working and hasn't stopped working.

MMS method 3.0it used to work fine. now half of the time the pictures would send and half of the time i get an error(red exclamation point) and have to resend a couple of times. works, but is a pain

Mine wasn't working all day. It would get to around 90% and hang, then red exclamation point. I called at&t and they documented it and said they would call me back by wednesday. They called back in roughly 2 hours, told me they reset something and it worked.

Doesn't work for me. I first tried with jailbroken 3.1 restarted Iphone 3g and I got the little camera button next to the keyboard but I can't send mms I get red exclamation sign. Then I restored to fresh non jailbroken 3.1 then tried update and restarted and still nothing... I keep getting red exclamation sign.. This sucks man

Ok, for all the guys saying it works for 3.0 and 3.01 care to explain what you did? I am not updating to 3.1 until the thetering hack is available.

Yep. Working on JB 3.0.1 along with tethering.

You can now dl the new profile from BenM that enables mms but still has tethering. Doesn't work on 3.1 yet though.

mine is working fine...have been using it for weeks now..just got my text an hour ago from AT&T telling me about the update though...

Yeah it takes about 10-20 seconds for the actual sending of the message to occur.. another note for those who have had an iphone since the 2006 launch.. Is if you had an original 2g iPhone, and you obtained an iPhone 3g-3gS but did not notify AT&T, either because the phone "fell off a truck" or ebay or whatever, basically you didn't get it at an ATT store, you MUST call them so they can modify your plan to the new 3G plan to use MMS. Other wise it won't work and it will just "!" all day... But after the call and there modification to your account it will work smoothly..

I paid my 10 dollar apple bill. Re-downloaded all my apps and now that I go to try and use em they dont fuckin work!. -

My MMS didn't work after the update. I called ATT&T this morning and they pretty much blamed it on Apple. So I called Apple, who said it had nothing to do with the Iphone, and they personally got ATT&T back on the line with us, and after over two hours on the phone, MMS was enabled for my device. How--ATT&T had me call a number, let it ring three times, apparently it allowed them to make sure all of the data was being sent to my device--according to the technician. It was a huge pain in the butt. My hats of to Apple support for the willingness to see this through to the end. AT&T, well...nothing new here with them.

3.1 working fine on my side. the only thing, i still have the same text icon. the icon showing (MMS) is not on my iphone. not sure if it's a 3gs feature only.

Mine is working, with 3.0 & jailbroken, but I added mine thru a video on YouTube- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzlY2mJnG-o ,but did anyone notice that the animation doesn't work when you click on the little blue arrow to open it up to make bigger? It's just a still picture. Also, you can't send audio. Do anyone know if "SwirlyMMS" going to improve on their software? They give you a lot more options than the apple software.

got 2 iphone 3gs 1 with 3.1 firmware and other with 3.0.1fw. Both have latest carrier update file ie 5.5 but still dont work on both phones. Now it seems mine sms is also not working on both phone. I did restart both phones after updating with latest carrier file yesterday. I m not big into sms and mms thats y i m not taking it as big deal for now but i will like to keep it working since i might need it any time. any suggestions?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
