    just unlocked a 3G and a 3Gs, no hickups at all, was a bit reluctant as Gehots solutions has not always been bug-free

    used APT backup for restoring Cydia aps, Ultrasn0w had to be removed to get operator reception

    resetting networks needed

    no issues with YouTube, Skype, Backgrounder, SBsettings

    easiest so far - made a donation as I hope others done as well

    hi, any one has jail break 3gs 3.2.1, and every time to turn the phone on and it go to restore mode and have to use blackra1n to boot?

    Hey guys, I got an iphone 2G running OS 1.1.2 with baseband 04.02.13_G. It's my uncle's iphone and he was only using the basic stuff. But it's so far behind I'm not even sure wat are the steps to take to upgrade OS 3.1.2? Anyone can help?

    i really need HELP!~!

    i just get my iphone 3GS n it come with VER 3.1.2 n baseband 05.11.07 It works fine to jailbreak it with blackra1n but after i turn off n on my iphone i get the "connect to itunes" screen... i got use to restore it n jailbreak again but the problem still the same... i read all the comments some oso have same problem with me but no 1 reply or help...

    PLS I REALLY NEED ADVISD N HELP....

    okay it worked fine up until step 6 which is when i got the phone unlocked and then clicked on the blacksnow application but my phone is getting no signals whatsoever .. ive tried different things but i still cant get any signals .. and because im getting no signals, i cant connect to the internet. please help

    i reallly need HELP!!!!
    - i updated to 3.1.2
    - then try to BLACKRA1N run on mac, didnt work and stuck on boot: thn ran blackra1n again- that worked. After that i restarted the iphone and stucked on itune sync logo.
    I cant jailbreak my iphone.....pls help me:

    hi everybody ... pls help me...

    i update my iphone( was already jailbroken) to 3.1.2 then i try to unlock with blacksnow... my phone is working now..wifi also working but no net work.. i tried to reset network.. then also.. shows no sirvice... mine is a Clean firmware 3.1.2 and baseband 05.11.07 .. pls help.. to get back my network.. i don't have a wifi network .. only broad band

    I jailbreaked and unlocked my 2 3G-iphones. One works without any problem. The 2nd one isn't so lucky, it has the wifi problem like everyone's been complaining about. I tried the reset network thing several times and even tried to do repeat the same jailbreak and unlock process on the wifi problematic iphone, but no luck.
    Hope a new fix for this problem will come out soon. :(

    Hi,

    I've iphone 3G with version 3.1(7C144) and Modem Firmware 05.11.07.
    I jailbreak my iphone and want to run black snow.
    Has anyone faced any issues with similary versions and firmware?
    Can i run black snow on above versions?

    I do not have internet at home (my internet connection is through tethering on my iphone). If I upgrade to os 3.1.2, will I be able to download blackra1n (remember, I have no internet connection at home)? In other words - will my phone still be "jailbroken" after the 3.1.2 upgrade? Thank you.

    Hi Amir, I have tried the same instructions you provided and I am still running into same issue, i.e. when the phone going into recovery mode when it is rebooted. I had to use either itunes to restore 3.1.2 OR blackra1n to reboot it to restart the phone. Below are the steps I have followed to jailbreak/unlock it. please advice if I am doing anything wrong.
    1) ran blackra1n.exe to jailbreak iPhone.
    2) full resync with iTunes.
    3) restarted the iPhone.
    ===> went into recovery mode. used blackra1n.exe to reboot the phone again.
    4) installed the blackra1n app on iPhone to unlock it.
    5) restarted the iPhone and it went into recovery mode..

    no luck in my case. Please advice. Thanks,Krishna

    iphone 3G 3.1.2 was j/b with pwnag with beasband 04.26.08
    i restore it via iTunes beasband 05.11.07.
    install Blackra1n and unlock with blacksn0w.
    every thing working BUT!!! all aap's are crushing!!
    (beside cydia and rock aap's)
    i deleted aap's from iphone and reinstaal via itunes.... not working.
    any one solution?

    3G 3.1.2 was j/b with pwnage beasband 04.26.08
    i restore via iTunes to beasband 05.11.07
    j/b with blackra1n and unlock with blacksn0w.
    every thing work BUT, aal iTunes aap's (not internet aap's) are crashing!! (also not cydia and rock aap's)
    i deleted aal aap's from ifon and reinstall via iTunes.... not helping.

    someone?? solution?? light in the crashing aap's darkness??

    This tool might be quite helpful, but not fpr mee, because my iboot is to knew, waht meens i have to jailbreak my iphone every time it restarts.
    I hope the porb will be solved soon :)

    Can someone tell me what you lose when you follow this process? I have heard MMS??? Can you still use iTunes to download apps and music? Do you have to use another sourse for applications?

    QShud i just use PwnageTool 3.1.4 and keep my old Baseband...because now im skeptic with 50% saying it works, and the other 50% having problems

    Well im just follow all the steps to unlock and jaibreak my iphone with the latest version 3.1.2 as the instruccion describe..!! But im having some problems with signal receptions.. Im with att network but every 5 minutes my signal drops...Any one is having the same problem..?

    p.s. Everything alse is working perfect.!!

    After unlock process, phone signal failed. And some times start again for a short time. I repeat the process a couple of times, but the signal is cero. any sugestions?
