iH8sn0w dev team have released Sn0wbreeze 1.4 to jailbreak and unlock iPhone OS 3.1.3. However, please read the post carefully before proceeding. Sn0wbreeze allows users to upgrade from a jailbroken iPhone OS 3.1.2 or lower to iPhone OS 3.1.3, which was released few days back to fix some minor bugs....

Good point, assuming the bugs that have been fixed in iPhone 3.1.3 are really bothering you.

First...ha ha, seriously, I will only upgrade if this fixes the
3.1.2 battery issues. I had to downgrade my 3gs
back to 3.0 to have a decent battery life. Most likely
will wait for Dev Teams solution. -
If you upgrade to OS 3.1.3 can you still tether using the Ben.at profile install like you could on previous OSes?

no if you can downgrade using iclarified.com tutorial you be able to then jailbreak using this that's if you saved your file on cydia

Kinda confused...if im already jailbroken and i use this...THEN i upgrade to 3.1.3? im running a 3Gs old boot rom on blackra1n with 3.1.2 someone let me know pls....

working on my at&t 3GS. But I cannot get native internet tethering to work. I tried MyWi, but the option to toggle on is there for a second and the disappears. Tried mms and tethering settings from all over even help.benm nothing works.
anybody got any ideas?thx

Is this upgrade also updates the modem firmware from 4.26.08 to the newest one?
I have a 3GS, just returned back to 3.0 because of the battery life.

i have an MC model iphone 3gs that is jailbroken with blackra1n rc3.When i restart the phone i must connect to the pc and run blackra1n.This is the tethered boot??Also i want to know if i can jailbreak my iphone with this snowbreeze.Thank u very much.

Iam in a mess with snowbreeze, i used snowbreeze to jailbreak and my phone hangs after i use blacksnow to unlock the device from cydia and it goes in aloop iam unable to use my iphone for the last three days iam waiting for an alternate option from someother option provider, please do not risk to use snowbreeze if you do not have a spare phone

dev team said if u have the new boot rom do not come near this will that mean the nex generation of people will not be able to jailbreak.

last night big problems but this morning snowbreeze released v1.4 it it worked as long as your on 3.1.2 jailbroke old boot rom you be ok

my jailbroken 3gs 3.1.2 went kaput on me yesterday. i lost cell reception in the moutains, so i put it in airplane mode thru sbsettings. and it just froze and i had to shut it down. went home and tried to turn it back on via tethered blackra1n like usual, and it keeps hanging on the geoh0t screen before going back to restore mode (usb to itunes screen). i know i have my ecid shsh thing on cydia, but for some reason, modifying my host file didnt allow me to restore to 3.1.2. so i was forced to restore to 3.1.3. anyone have any idea on how to get back to 3.1.2?

u should be able to go back to 3.1.2 since u have ur shsh with cydia,
u have to proply direct itunes to jay freeman servers otherwise it will not work.

also u have to put ur iphone in DFU mode not the one with itunes pic

since your phone is working fine, a piece of advice, just stay away from it at the moment. If you need an unlock, some people are reporting issues on blackra1n compatibility, it could mess up your unlock.

Using sn0wbreeze will not upgrade your baseband. As for downgrading, some have already tried downgrading to 3.1.2, not sure about lower.

piece of advice, stay away from the update at the moment. there are some reports on issues regarding blacksn0w compatibility if you need an unlock.

Hi, I am from india. I am unable to upgrade to 3.1.3 and i am still struck with 3.1.2. My itunes when connected tells me that 3.1.2 is the latest and it does not indicate any upgrades what so ever. Pls help as to why i am unable to upgrade.

maybe you need to update your iTunes if it wasn't. are you sure you really just want to update to 3.1.3? no jailbreak or unlock?

i just upgraded and jailbreak my iphone 3g 2.2.1 to 3.0. the last step was to sync with itunes but upon sync with itunes it asked me to upgrade to 3.1.3 and without doing so i cant switch on my iphone. so i want to ask is it safe for me to upgrade it to 3.1.3 and use sn0wbreeze 1.4 to jailbreak it and so on? thanks
