It's nice to know Apple is not going to charge us for this. Microsoft would make us pay $199 for this kind of an OS upgrade. It would be called iPhone Viva or something dumb like that.

I dunno how many times I've said it or seen other people say it but, Apple allows tethering, it's AT&T that keeps us from tethering in the US.

Oh yeah... forgot about that. Well maybe Apple can twist their arm, or open the iPhone up to all the other carriers instead of locking it to AT&T. And maybe they can stop patching the jailbreak and unlock features out of their firmware/software/bootroms. Apple isn't 100% innocent in this "scheme". However AT&T is the real problem I suppose.

Yeah... I'm a developer but for some reason I am not yet sold that this iAd thing is going to be "cool" or anything other than annoyying. I suppose I'll have to see it, but one reason people like DVR's so much is so that they can skip the tv ads... so yeah... being able to turn ads off completely would be awesome. I have never "enjoyed" an ad. We'll see if Apple has re-invented advertising, but somehow I'll have to see it first to be convinced.

I really wish they would have enabled wireless browsing for the iPhone. I want to be able to store files on the damn thing without having to connect to the computer anymore.

So 3g users won't get multitasking, from what I can see, JAILBREAKING DEVS are way better than Apple's own...

multitasking on 3G is buggy ... apple doesn't want to make their iphone 3G buggy so they prefer to cut multitasking out of the package .... to make people buy the new iphone as well ;) but i am pretty sure , someone will manage to make apple's multitasking available on iphone 3G via cydia :)

So rating OS 4.0 ....HMMMM ....6/10...still no flash or html5...this summer decision the iphone 4 or evo 4g hmmm...multitasking,flash 8.0 camara (2) and lots more might join the darkside(google/android)....iphone better blow my mind....

I have had all the multitasking apps on the iphone and none have been buggy to me...specially on the 3g....Do you work for apple STAN?? If it wasn't for JB, iphone would suck big time!!!
