i wonder if there are statistics on jailbreak vs. unlock.
i personally would choose unlock before jailbreak..if those were the options..
but i guess having jailbreak is better than not.
its just..some ppl only jailbreak so they can unlock. kinda stinks that after all this time..you know..? -

anyway, it's thanks to the jailbreak community that we have so much to love in the iphone..without them, i doubt the success of the iphone would be at this level.

start working on jailbreaking 4.0 who cares about 3.0.3? seriously i dont give a **** for it.

when i turn on my iphone it shows usb connected with itunes n there is lock sign above it happen when i updated a new version 3.1.3 with baseband 05.12.01 on my iphone from itunes. now i m stuck in emergency slide screen. can you tell me what i need to do first jailbreak or unlock n this new coming spirit will help me or not?i m waiting for ur response..

according to this post, it won't matter what you do first. there might not be an unlock available until june when the new iphone comes out.
so you can jailbreak..but not unlock.

i got an iphone 3gs 3.1.3 mc model and new bootrom updated baseband and not jailbroken.
will i be able to jailbreak my phone and use cydia again?

its so sad how crazy people get....if you don't give them the free jail break asap they hate you and wish you dead....but when you say it is coming out tomorrow they all love you and give you props for a job well done....People suck....but i will say thank you for taking your time to do this JB right for all of us,,,,i wish people had a idear of how much time and money you guys put into doing this stuff for us.....If there is a donation option count me in....

You won't be able to use any other network except AT&T
Jailbreak means, you can install cydia and other apps not coming from AppStore
Unlock means, you can use any other networks.

Thank's because they maked the jailbreak program.... but giving them money that's too much ;) if they wan't money they need to make there jailbreak as a software not freeware, you feel me? So thanks for wasting time to make that jailbreak... Why the hell does it take so long just to release a ****.... and if APPLE patch's it then just make a new jailbreak? bitches.....

I have the old bootrom on my iPhone 3GS, so will after using the jailbreak, would I be able to use Fuzzyband to downgrade the Baseband???? Thanks in advance ;)
