I have an iphone 3gs bought on ebay on 3.1.3 but i cant activate it cause i dont know what sim card to use. will i be able to hactivate it with spirit? if anyone knows pls respond!

This is stupid. Another excuse for not to relase the freking tool. That excuse of holding the release to "Allow time to get SHSH blobs, specially On the 3G iPad". I mean come on!!! You can release the tool and at the same time people can back up their SHSH's before using the tool. They like to tease us with freaking videos. I mean come on, release it already.

It's important that the JB providers place cydia and JB app users ability to to devolve as a priority especially if they mindlessly agree to let it00ns to put then in a firmware situation they cannot solve without having to find another exploit, or creating a signature server solution that allows a downgrade
If idevices cannot be downgraded, then jailbreak developers lose their customer base, and some will lose money to that fuckh0le called the AppStore and steve 'flash make makes safari exploitable so I hate it but I'm a **** for @comex and his userland exploit of my soooosecure mobile safari browser because the day after I told the world how flash is a risk to web browsers my safe and secure iPad got pwned one day one' Jobs

tbh you would know what provider it was on if you looked in the settings. Look in Settings > General > Carrier...

Simply put it's a SHSH hash file (blob) that you can get using The Firmwate Umbrella (link in post) or Saurik's method (google us your guide ;))
Once you get it, keep it safe for a rainy day as you'll need it to get back to the current Spirit-exploitable firmware in case you 'accidentally' upgrade to a Spirit-patched firmware released by Apple in the near future :)
I googled, I blobbed and now I await the Spirit to enter my iPhone ;)

I don't understand why you people want 3.1.3, there's nothing new for this firmware, all Apple does is tighten security and make it hard for people to jailbreak their phones. Please have patience and wait for the 4.0 jailbreak. I know some of you require hacktivation services but you just need to wait for devteam or other groups to release it because if they release it now, apple will close in on their hacks

all you have to do is stick any old at&t sim in it and hook it up to itunes and it will bring up the spring board, but not actually activate. but you will be good to go then.

I'd rather Comex keeping Spirit until he feels the time is right
I'm now on 3.1.3 on purpose (yes I can restore to 3.1.2 but have reasons for 3.1.3)
