guys if you go to apple.com type iPhone in the search bar. You'll see iPhone 4 and iOS 4, even though they still haven't changed the main page.

June 24th, same day my uk upgrade is due! Coincidence?? New iphone looks awesome, but trying the new OS4 on 3GS first is a nice idea! But with better battery life, i'm definately upgrading!

So it is the one we saw appearing all around the world then over the past few weeks?..think I'll stick with my 3.1.2 3gs and wait for some in depth reviews before I jump ship :)

You should have 15 or 30 days to return the phone. I would double check with ATT.

cheers thanks alot. does that mean that registered developers can download ios4 today without having to dedicate a device to development. eg. can it be downgraded after upgraded?

Am I correct in assuming that those of us who are awaiting unlock ability for our jailbroken 3G 3.1.3 iPhones are really happy about the release of the iOS 4 and nopt so much the release of the actual phone on the 24th (i.e. we could have unlock capability before June 24th?)

Hypothetically speaking, why can't you use 3gs for video calling using the rear camera if it's going to be running the same operating system? At least the other caller can see you and if you want to see them just flip the phone ...am I wrong?

Will this require us to move to the new AT&T data contracts (away from unlimited data)? If we use 3GUnrestrictor to allow FaceTime to work over 3G, then we'll be chewing up that 2GB data plan pretty quickly.

Well im quite upset I recently got an Iphone for me and my fiance. Left verizon to go with ATT and get the 3GS.I should have waited just a tad bit longer to have gotten this new Iphone :(

haha nice one i didnt even think about that. yeah that would consume a lot of data, stick with unlimited data, and just jailbreak it, youll have free tethering and video chat over 3g.

micro sim still not widely used

You can just custom cut the other carrier's sim card to fit into iPhone
