You dont. People just want things they can't have. With html 5, flash is no longer needed anymore. Especially with upcoming technologies like smokescreen (http://smokescreen.us/), the iphone will never need to support flash.

Awesome! Can't wait! I'm so sick of Mr. Arrogant a$$ Steve Jobs telling me I cant use Flash on my iPad because he doesn't like it. I could care less if he likes it or not. It's my damn iPad that I paid $629.00 for and if I want to use Flash and deal with any of the issues then I should be able too. People keep saying that it's not a big deal and the iPad can still watch most videos on the web. That is simply not true. I have been to many many websites that I enjoy that will not load on my iPad because Steve Jobs won't allow Flash. He really is becoming a complete butt head!

Well, I had to overhaul 3 of my websites just to make them available in ipad. The flash thing is giving me headache... I hope someone can make a good application for flash problem..

I tried flash on the nexus one. Be careful what you wish for. Flash is buggy, slows the system to a snails pace and eats memory and battery life like it's going out of style.

Of course we miss flash! I hate visiting sites that run on flash and I cant view them on the iphone. Hope this gets to work on the iphone.

I'm for and against flash. I still run into flash only websites every now and then but I don't miss those annoying flash ads. Even now I can't see this YouTube video thru my iPhone. Could be due to size.

Clearly this would be a welcome addition. If the user can turn it on or off (like FlashBlock does for Firefox) it would be perfect.
I don't need all the flash ads, but there are times that flash is necessary. A lot of store and restaurant web sites use flash, some games and videos, etc.
Sure, Flash is CPU intensive. HTML5 is not all that much faster on my computer, possibly due to implementation, but we can only discuss what's going on now. I see no reason to deny the user the choice to run a flash movie, other than that it prevents Apple from controlling all those games.

I would really like to know why there is no mobile version to this site. Some pages take too long to load and writing on comments at times is a pain.

The iPhone/iPad community needs a little more empathy for each other. It's amazing how those who don't use flash are quick to put down those who actually need and use flash for several reasons. Cmon people... have an understanding of each others perspectives! Selfish perspectives breed ignorance, which causes unconscious maladaprive thought processes. This goes for everyone! How does that make you feel?

Flash is good or bad, it's user choice. iDevices don't support flash is not perfect.

@triston I bet you use it, if you watch YouTube, you use it. If you play games, you use it. Even this website has Flash on it.... You swear like flash has never received update since 2001, it's still goin strong and is doing well. So just shush. It!

I went to sleep with 37% of battery about 12am. Woke up at 10am with only 3% battery life. is this normal???????? My 3GS has been sitting in my car for about a week and still breathing !!!!! Has anybody have this same problem?

FlashBlock is on my list of must have add-ons.
I like flash but I want to have a way of turning on the flash content of my choice.
Without FlasBlock everything runs without a way to turn it off.I would like flash on my iPhone but I want a way to control it also. Maybe Steve Jobs should work on that compromise with Adobe Corporation.

do you live in you car? if you have a place to live lol, you should prolly think about plugging it in at night, just a thought. oh and do you run hundreds of apps in the background that you arnt using. check that too.
