After jailbreaking my iphone 4 with iOS 4.0.1, I updated cydia and then rebooted my iphone, after that all I could see was the apple logo, my iphone is bricked now!, how can i fix this? I tried to restore the iphone with ios 4.0.1 but apple doesn't let me do it!

download official ios 4.0.1, restore mode entered with shift/option. select ipsw you downloaded for your device. let apple verify it's thing, then jailbreakme.com should do the rest. back up if necessary.

I jailbreak my Iphone 4 today and followed the guide. Unfortunately, it won't start up afterwards. It stay in the boot up sequence (with the apple Logo) Version was 4.0.1

Hey I've noticed everybody saying to use the OS 4.0.1 but when I bought mine and synced it with itunes it automatically updated to OS 4.0.2 Will this program still work? Has anybody had any issues with doing it?

Thanks folks...Worked like a charm on my Iphone 3GS- 4.0.Cydia already had the Ultrasn0w repository installed in it, I installed it on my phone ...though not completely sure if it has unlocked my devise. However absolutely no hassles reaching this point. My phone seems to be working fine. I needed real backgrounding (not the fake one from Apple).

download the pwnage tool for 3.1.3 and the ipsw file. you also have to change your hosts file to point to saurik's server there's info on how to do that on google.
