DUDE THIS FIX !!!! ROCKZ !!!!
I literally spent 2hrs with T-Mobile customer service and 3hrs searching the WEB for a fix. I think I passed over this site at least 3 x's ( IDIOTA ) when I finally did scroll down and follow the instructions the fix honeslty took like 3mins and I can SEND and RECIEVE "MMS" on my unlocked/jailbroken iPhone 3G.
Now if you guys can figure away to allow the folder storgae that iPhone 4 has there will be NO need for me to upgrade
I'm posting this on EVERY SITE possible... Thanks

Check the settings that they list in the original post. I noticed it was the same as mine except the APN was blank. I just typed in what they showed (wap.voicestream.com) and restarted my phone and now it works

I noticed the same as nvrblog and did the same thing he did. My mms now works fine. Thanks for all the help.

this is amazing..after so many people told me it was not possible I did it myself and worked fine...you guys are bad ass and respects to you for sure...i have t mobile sim card installed and 3g 4.0.2 MB model iphone up and running...i will send anyone i can to this forum to get assistance with anything they need

:). I have a 3GS iPhone unlocked and jailbroken with TMobile running on ios4. And have literally been trying these fixes on random internet sites for weeks and this one ACTUALLY worked!!!!!!! I'm soooooooooo happy, I can finally rest easy!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!

I must be doing something wrong.
I've followed all the instructions but nothing ever appears in the Cellular Data Network area.
I've tried many times to enter the information manually. After I restart, it is all gone. I've tried to reset the network settings, reinstall the fix, and when I reboot the phone, nothing appears in the Cellular Data Network area.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nevermind. Got it working. Finally used:
Data APN: epc.tmobile.com
MMS APN: wap.voicestream.com
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080 -
FUSTRATED TMOBILE USERi am now trying to follow your steps but my question is did you leave the max size and proof of url the same with the settings you have listed above ?

does anyone know if this fix works for someone using a 3G on 3.1.3? not for me for my friend... also is there an easy way to upgrade to just 4.0 instead of the newer versions i can guide him to?

This fix works for me...im using os 4.2.1 with 6.15 firmware but not sure which unlock method was used :( hope this info helps even just a little bit...

Thank youuuu! Now it's working, but I have a new issue...my iPhone is showing on the top right side of the screen a little lock with a curve arrow all arond it and what I find is that my videos and photos don't switch to landscape mode if I rotate my phone. What can I do about it?

Ok I usually dont post on these things, but i dont know how they did this but this PATCH WORKS!!! Youre awesome, also like stated above make sure you enter the APN address, I luckily had mine already filled in due to the fact that I was trying to enable MMS on my own!WORKS GREAT YOU ARE AWESOME!
