need help please! i accidentally upgrade my iphone 3G to 4.1 firmware last Sept.10 and now it appears on the screen connect to itune and i think its lock...
and now i can't use it, when i connect to itune it, itune cannot recorgnize... please someone help me... many thanks -

yup jailbreak on 4.0 den when i plug to itune i accidentally press update so thats it, i tought after i update i can jaiobreak using redsnow 9.5 then after that it locks...

Alright, I have a question. I do not have a ATT sim, so when I turn on my iphone it takes me to the emergency screen. I used ultrasn0w before then to unlock my iphone, but I failed to realize that in order for the unlock to work you have to have the 4.0 firmware, then use the ultrasn0w unlock. Now my phone is in emergency only mode, and I have not a clue if my friend saved my SHSH anywhere. Is there a term I could look up on my windows search that wouldn't be named SHSH? He may have saved it but I am not sure. Even so, if I was to use redsn0w I would need cydia, which I cannot place on my iphone without a sim. Any ideas?

Also I just started learning about all of this last night, and i had been working on it from 6p.m. to 5 a.m. figuring it out. I was stupid in accidentally clicking the yes button to update. I may just have to go without a phone for a while until the unlock comes out I suppose.

Sorry to hear about it, you need to wait for the Dev Team to unlock baseband 5.14.02 or for someone to figure out a way to downgrade the baseband.

RedsnOw is the best GUI Jailbreaking tool I have ever used, I have used Snowbreeze 2.0.2, Spirits and another one as well. But RedsnOw was just so much easier and quicker, and had less room for errors.

I updated my iPhone 3G to iO.S 4.1, and found it much faster and reliable. But I had lost my Jailbreak features, i.e: Multi-Tasking, Wallpapers, Safari Starting pages, time and battery display with multi-tasking tray and many others......
Thus, I will Jailbreak it.

my iphone 2g went in recovery mode with a steve jobs cartoon and a talking bubble saying NPEBEA...i connected my iphone with itunes and unfortunately updated it to dont know which firmware...Now i dont have an ATnt sim to figure that out...
