Ok, I'm completely in the dark about how jailbreaking and unlocking works. I have a Iphone 4 4.1 with BB of 2.10.04. Does this mean I cannot jailbreak my phone?I need to unlock it too so I can use it and from what I understand I can no longer do that. Sorry for the newbie question.

What about those of us who had our phones (3GS mainly)replaced by apple to to defects and were stuck on 4.02 or 4.1 without any of our old blobs? Think a little bit before you start bashing on others.

If YOU actually read it, they didn't announce that A4 part until AFTER they announced the release date. So for the month leading up to the announcement, they led us to believe it would work for ALL idevices.
I really wish people would do some research before posting with these stupid comments.

It means that you will always be able to jailbreak your iphone if you have the right hardware. Even if you accidentally upgrade your firmware, you can still JB it. It does NOT mean that it will stay jailbroken forever.

Snowbreeze can only JB 4.1 3GS on already jailbroken devices.

Are you trying it from inside a VM? I know I tried it that way and it didn't work until I was fully booted into Windows.
