Also didnt work for me on ipod touch 3G 8GB MC model running 4.1. I've tried it about 3 times and now I'm stuck in the Recovery mode.

Limera1n doesn't support iPhone 3G. You should use Redsn0w to jailbreak your iPhone 3G:

i jailbroke my iphone 4 4.0.2 modem 01.59.00 and used ultrasn0w to unlock it, IT WORKED! But still i have a problem. I cannot connect to internet over 3G or Edge. HELP!!!

The same thing happened to me. I may have gotten a little frustrated at more than a few failed attempts and disconnected the usb during jailbreak exploit installation. I tried rebooting but that didn't work. Next I ran the jailbreak again and brought it out of recovery mode, but the jailbreak was still unsuccessful. That may or may not help you, but its worth a try, don't think it'll hurt anything, good luck.

all of us are using 4.1 and its not working we rebooted multiple times as you can read and nothing shows up and it says its jailbroken correctly.

I am having the same problem. I am on 4.1 ios, MC Model. I have tried it multiple times and the same result happens. The Limera1n says it has jailbroken my ipod touch 3g but when restarted, (because it's left in recovery mode) the limera1n app does not show up. Plz help !

I am having this same problem. No limera1n logo during the jailbreak. And then there is no limera1n app after it's complete. But it says that the JB was successful

Just jailbroke my ipod touch 4g (8 gb model) with beta 4, and worked flawlessly. Cydia installed fine, all my apps were still in place as desired, etc.

worked after like 39 times. for me i had to let itunes open up then close it. and THEN start holding power and home. thats the only way it worked for me. keep trying.

Worked perfectly fine for me on my second try. =D 3GS 32gb new bootrom. First try failed using desktop win 7. Second try on lappy win vista, magically, everything's done within a min!! Try using win vista to jb ur 3GS!

I have an ITOUCH 4G version 4.1....I succesfully JAILBREAKED MY ITOUCH 4G but after restarting my device I dont find the CYDIA FOLDER on my homescreen.

It worked on the first try last night on my iPod Touch 32GB 3GS on 4.1 using LimeRa1n RC1b on XP, no prob. Then I restored from itunes, with no prob. Then I restored from APT Backup app and then all my problems began!It wouldn't get out of "Safety Mode" no matter the help instructions provided in MobileSB. So I decided to start from scratch again by restoring factory settings from the Ipod so I can re-jb and now it's stuck in a recovery loop since last night!! I'm trying everything possible but it won't get the connect to iTunes pic just the apple logo. It shuts off on occasion but starts up within a second to the apple logo... Any suggestions?! Would "iRecovery" help me get out of recovery loop? I can't manage to open the program in XP by properties/compatibility/WindowsXP SP2. Damn, I had it working at first, grrrrr! Help please...

Got it to work again outta recovery... This is what I did: Ipod completely off, held down home button and plugged in cable from pc, got the frozen apple logo with the non moving swirl then kept on holding the home button till the iTunes image appeared(finally)and iTunes opened up and I did a restore and iTunes did it's thing! Ready to JB again!
