Does the normal method hacktivate the phone too or is that an option on the advanced menu only?

If I activated with an AT&T sim which I don't have anymore, now use pwnage tool to upgrade, do I need to have the hactivate option enabled because I only have a T-mobile SIM now. Also will this disable push notifications and youtube functionality which work fine at the moment.

just tried it for shits and gigs with 6.02 and 5.14.02 and still cannot unlock for t-mobile. Guess I will just wait. DO NOT go to www.iphoneunlockuk.com they are the worst. They claim to unlock bootloader 6.02 but cannot.
