All right I think I understand all this. Please correct me if I am wrong. My setup: BB 5.14.02, Bootloader 6.4, Model MC137. Therefore:I am not interested in the unlock, will stay with AT&T for a while longer. I have the new boot rom (MC137) so, I can use this redsn0w to jailbreak, but it will be tethered until something new comes out. I can also use redsn0w to upgrade the radio to 6.15. Cydia will not work with 4.2.1, correct?Thanks for your help and information.

Im on version 3.1.2 with the old bootrom. Will updating to version 4.2.1 also update my bootrom version? Which in turn would make the jailbreak tethered?

Getting a little tired of waiting for an unteathered jailbreak for the ipad. Want airplay damnit! LOL .. not faulting Comex, Devteam, or anyone else for that matter. Though it would be easy with the "promises" of christmas presents.But all that aside . thinking about doing this tethered version.Has anyone had any issues doing this with the ipad? Any cydia issues?
