Dev Team Releases Redsn0w 0.9.7 Beta 5 For iOS 4.2.1 Untethered Jailbreak
iPhone Dev Team has just released a new beta version of Redsn0w 0.9.7 - Redsn0w 0.9.7b5. Dev Team has fixed all sandbox related issues in the new beta version and it doesn’t disable Bluetooth like the previous beta versions. It is still meant only for beta testers.
iPhone Dev Team had released Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 couple of weeks back that implements the “backup plan” for iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4,iPad and iPod touch 4G.

I heard they were releasing a jailbreak Christmas weekend not a limited beta for macs... No I'm not ungrateful I have donated and still waiting but all these betas are just teasers.. Might as well wait for 4.3 I've already waited this long. This is turning to be ridiculous and apple is probably waiting form them to release this then patch it up and release 4.3 weeks later

that's why you don't donate !!! these people are still gonna put out software regardless if you donate or not - it's a friggin hobby to them. that's like paying the bum on the corner - he's still gonna be there the next day asking for money !!! it's what they do !!!!!!!

Skype still does not work. No Skype means no go. Thanks to all the devs for all their hard work. Looking forward to a non beta version soon.

There is nothing wrong with donating. The problem happens when people (you) don't distinguish the difference between donating and making a purchase. Purchases entitle you to a little bit of tech support, since you are buying a product. Donating is something you do because you want to. You are not entitled to anything in return, including life-long updates. When you donate to Goodwill, do you expect them to provide you with free product?

I have said that dev team will realease the 4.2.1 unlock when the 4.3 is officially out from apple..!!!Now again I think so this is gonna be true...!!!What u say folks???

I thought that they are going to "edit" out these dumb posters who constantly monitor and check for new posts just so they can put "FIRST". I guess not! Well, 13 is a lucky number for me anyway, but windows isn't. I love Mac's but just can't afford it (I get too many free software with windows!)

Tried that but doesn't work .. Have latest vmware plus osx 10.6 but no use. Goes smoothly all the Way till u are asked to put in DFU mode. VMware just won't recognize as it as new hardware directly goes to window OS. Even if you put the iPhone in DFU mode and connect it to vmware it stucks at "waiting for reboot" after limewire exploit. Meantime iPhone does restart but is recognized on windows instead of VMware.
