Chronic Dev team has released greenpois0n RC6 to jailbreak Apple TV 2G on iOS 4.2.1 for both Mac and Windows.
Last weekend, Chronic Dev team had released greenpois0n to jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch on iOS 4.2.1.
pod2G, member of the Chronic Dev Team announced the news via Twitter:
greenpois0n RC6 is out. http://www.greenpois0n.com/ . Both Mac & Windows.
So greenpois0n RC6 supports the following iOS iDevices:

I'm using RC5 with no problems. What emulator issues and problems with iBooks are they referring to? I think I'll keep RC5 for now.

Dont be jealous loser iPhone 4 purchasers. Its ok, you will one day figure out that having Flash and other features like HDMI out and micro SD is a lot better world.

I did the jb for my apple tv2. Now have xbmc running on it. It's nice. I can now stream files from my computer that are not apple format diendly

Hey JayRolla flash blows so who cares. Also HDMI for a lap top Nice for a phone gay. I dont know about any of you but when I used to hook my iphone to a TV (using the overpriced cable) I would get 5 minutes in and get a text then reply to that text and 2 min later interrupt my movie again. I guess losers with no friends dont need to worry about this. Any way I got the Apple TV (has the HDMI out) and the free remote app and for under 100 dollars that smokes using your phone to TV. Have fun with your stupid little Motorola watching your gay **** in flash format which you saved on your gay little micro SD streamed through your over rated HDMI out. Me I will stick with my 300 GB of MP4 converted movies which are stored in my Itunes that automatically stream to my apple TV and I will sit and text all day while watching that ****.

I just did jailbreak on my ATV2. After jailbreaking and injecting Cydia, I get only a black screen. I rebooted a few times. Only displays black screen. Any idea??

Thanks Chronic Dev! I wasn't able to jb my 3gs with the last release, but this one worked like a charm. Installed and booted in a couple minutes, and even kept everything I had from cydia, so ... really convenient!
