Hi iphonehacks,I have an iphone 4 and am on 4.2.1 firmware and originally jailbroke my iPhone using greenpoison, I retained the baseband 01.59.00 using tiny umbrella. Can I jailbreak using snowbreeze and also retain the baseband without problems?

If you depend on Ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone then you should wait for wait for Dev team/iH8sn0w to fix the incompatibilities with iOS 4.3.1.

I tried restoring then jailbreaking a couple of times and it seems that my free memory for the system is slowly decreasing. It went from 35.5 to 34.2 then 31.8.Will this affect my phone? How can I free it up?My phone has been newly restored but it doesnt have games or other apps on it. No music, just a bunch of photos.

I used Snowbreeze 2.5 Windows to JB my Iphone 4g with baseband 3.10.01. It reboots and can use all other functions except can't get signal/activation back again. Tried Redsnow, Pwnage, etc and even original apple restore thru itunes but get stalled at the end or error 1030.Any ideas for restoring to original condition. Am I doing something wrong???Thanks all for your help need it!!!

im getting no service after jailbreak. im using 3gs new bootrom and factory unlocked. any ideas?

Since you have a factory unlocked iPhone, when you are creating the custom iPhone firmware using Sn0wbreeze, it prompts you whether you want to activate your iPhone then you should select No rather than Yes.

You need to go through the process of Pwning your iPhone again using Sn0wbreeze.

After restoring my 3GS with IPSW 4.3.1 with itunes 10.2.1.1 everything goes ok until the very end when it says "could not restore, unknown error (37)".

didn't know about this 1 signal bar :-/, i should probably just restore and use redsn0w to see if the 1 bar will be fixed.

I tried also restoring original fw frm itunes aftr several times geting error stuff.. But to no avail. Dn i used redsnow. And it did jb my ip4 4.3.1 bb 3.10.01 on jus 1 try.. Cydia apps work well.

I have an Iphone 4 1.59.00 BB after jailbreak with snowbreeze my phone will show only one signal bar. Although It seems to work as if it had good signal, it indicates only 1 bar.

i'm staying far far far away from these fw updates... keeping my 3gs running 4.0.1 has been silky smooth and there is practically no benefit for updating besize the sh*tty airprint

it seems that 1 signal bar issue is general.. :(

if ur baseband is 5.13 then u should install ultra snow, that will unlock ur phone and u will see all bars. if ur phone has latest basband then u should jailbreak with redsnow coz snowbreez is for those people who want to save their baseband. its always happen with me.

the 1 signal bar vafter sn0wbreeze is common prob if u use redsn0w there is no such problem as far as i an aware the 1 bar doesnt matter as full signal is there in reallity hope this helps

also if u r already with at&t then when u make custom firmware with snowbreez don't check on "Hactivate" option, that will also fix ur problem.

I had 4.2.1 on iphone 4 with baseband 02etc and then used sn0wbreeze on premodified iphone3,1_4.3.1_8G4.ipsw and jailbroke phone to 4.3.1 with baseband 04etc and noticed that 1bar was only available.Kept restoring to factory settings using itunes 10.2 and then using sn0wbreeze 2.5 to jb.After a number of reties i finally got all bars present showing 3G.Since phone was factory unlocked modem firmware irrelevent
