iH8sn0w had released Sn0wbreeze 2.6 few days back, which allows users who want to jailbreak and also unlock their iPhone to update their iPhone with a pre-jailbroken iOS 4.3.2 while preserving the baseband from getting upgraded so that it can be unlocked using Ultrasn0w.
This guide will provide iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users with step-by-step instructions to update and jailbreak their iPhone with iOS 4.3.2 while preserving their iPhone's baseband.

I am still on the "jailbreakme.com" 4.0.1 using an Iphone 4 firmware 01.59.00 - my question: Can "upgrade" without losing all my cydia apps and settings? Or will I have to reinstall them?

After jailbreaking it with Sn0wbreeze 2.6 i no longer had any phone service could not make any calls. Anyone else had this issue???

When no unlock available, why are they only concentrating on jail break. I am sure if all of them gave priority to unlock, today we would have had it.

I have already sold my phone 4g 32gb that had that 4.1 firmware. I bought it in August and was holding it waiting for an unluck until March when i decided to sell it.The Dev Team has lost the battle.Iphone 4g is an old news now.

All you need to do is:1.) Obtain a copy of "PKGBackup" from cydia (paid App) and install it.2.) Launch the PKGBackup and backup all your Apps3.) Sync with iTunes4.) Right-Click on your iPhone in iTunes and make a complete backup5.) Upgrade (Restore) your iOS 4.0.1 to the latest following this blog to preserve your baseband6.) Restore your backup contents made on step 47.) If PKGBackup is not present, launch cydia and install PKGBackup8.) View Restore contents and restore all cydia AppsDone ;-)I hope it helps!

jailbroke ok, but no matter what I do, itunes refuses to see the phone, even though it got my contact back, can not get my original apps back..

I got it. Use the iREB option. It worked and fixed it.

If anyone is having any issues with their data network or signal bar, just reformat a new sn0wbreeze 4.3.2 firmware and follow the jailbreak and unlock again. I couldn't connect to the internet at first, but I downloaded the firmware and sn0wbreeze again and it fixed any issues I had. Hope this helps.Iphone 4, 4.3.2, 01.59.00

Currently I'd upgraded my iphone 3gs to firmware 4.3.2 (baseband 05.16.02) and jailbreak with redsn0w. Unfortunately, the carrier network shows one bar only and can not make a call. How can I fix this problem? Shall I jailbreak again with sn0wbreeze and unlock with ultrasn0w? Can the baseband be downgraded? pls help thks
