It looks like you didn't put your iPhone in DFU mode properly, try again and follow the instructions carefully.

You probably have to change the host options in itunes.

I have an iPhone 3gs (Old Boot Rom)ps. This is an untethered jailbreak i followed the intructions and everything worked like a charm. Baseband 5.13 and upgrade my firmware from 4.0 to 4.3.2 with these steps and unlocked for T-mobile. Everything worked fine for me.

This was a great help! I followed the instructions exactly as described and it works beautifully (upgraded from 4.0.1). I was hoping FaceTime would work after the upgrade, but it is still stuck with the message "waiting for activation". I am in India and I can send and receive international SMS (at least from the UK), so gotta figure that one out. Thanks for this iPhoneHacks!

I cant restore the custom Sn0nobreeze prefix...the message from itunes "iphone cant restore. An unknown error occurred (21).
