JailbreakMe 3.0 FAQ, Known Issue & More
Comex released the eagerly awaited JailbreakMe 3.0 to jailbreak iPhone, iPad and iPod touch earlier today, which like JailbreakMe 2.0 is one of the easiest jailbreaking solutions for iOS devices, as it can be done using Mobile Safari and is as simple as tapping on a few buttons to jailbreak and install Cydia.

The JB did not work for me on my iPhone 4-4.3.3.I click free, then install, then the SB comes up and nothing happens. Anyone else see this happening?

Works on my iPhone 4 from day of release on 4.3.3. cydia is very very slow at adding sources if it does not come up with errors but this could be to do with the amount of people using them :(I have however come accross a bug with bitesms if you receive an SMS and click on the x to colse it crashes the iPhone the goes in to a infinite loop of rebooting. So I'm holding off reinstalling for the 30th time today (little exaggeration)

now I see the Cydia icon start to load, then the icon says installing, and then the icon disappears. Any ideas on this?

I had exactly the same issue. I was using the beta JB beforehand on 4.3, upgraded to 4.3.3 and restored back with my apps, then tried jailbreakme. Started loading Cydia, then vanished. Must have something to do with the residual beta Cydia. I did a fresh clean restore of 4.3.3 and it took just fine. THEN I went to jailbreakme.com and it loaded Cydia without any problem. Next, I restored my apps and Cydia remained. Hope it helps!!PS - THANK YOU COMEX!!!!!!!!

I didn't use the JB beta. I am staring fresh, and continue to have the issue.

I was using the beta to on 4.3 i upgraded to the full release and it works like a dream. Still on 4.3

4.3 is supported on ipad 2 !!!!

try killing the power turn off then turn back on

Reboot then try again. It should work the 2nd time around,if it doesn't work the 1st time

after restoring 4.3.3 I am now getting the message when visiting jailbreakme.com "There was a problem downloading the jailbreak files. Invalid checksum"How can this be overcome?

Worked the first time... then got itchy cos my 3G has not been working since day 1... did a restore and had problems completing it on my wondows desktop. managed to get it done on my MBP. restored all apps and di a JBM! Worked yet again. Started having slow installation in Cydia. Now a bit better and the 3G worked! Thanks COMEX.

Downloaded Cydia, no problem (I am using the Iphone 4 4.3.3) Downloaded BITEsms, I am on my 4th reboot, it downloads fine but when I use it for a text, my phone goes into Apple logo loop.. WTF..

Only problem with the Camera Connection Kit on iPad2 here, doesn't work anymore. I hope it will be fixed soon!

After jailbeaking, the Apple digital AV adapter is not working, only submitting audio, I can't mirror my iPad 2 anymore
