Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it is a doorstop until you get to a PC. And I think a reboot also puts in the in same state. But, I do believe you can respring without needing a PC. I've been jailbreaking since my original iPhone. I have always waited for untethered but I am honestly thinking about trying iOS 5 now. I just can't wait!

Agree with another poster. Odd verizon phone is left out. Doesn't look good for 4s and ipad2 if they can't even include the Verizon phone in this jailbreak.Curious now where those 5 user land exploits are that they boasted about..

Hi, I need help. I have 3GS w/ old botroom, bb 6.15. I used RS 0.9.9b5 with custom IPSW and I restored it thru pwned DFU. Everything went well except there's no Cydia. I've tried 3 times and still no Cydia. Any advice is appreciated.

I have created the custom IPSW using the new redsn0w. How do I install it on my iPhone 3Gs now? When I select it from redsn0w it says unsupported ipsw. Or do I have to simple enter DFU and restore using iTunes?

why is there no release for iPad 2 3G. I have not seen a single jailbreak as yet for iOS 5. Really eagerly waiting for a jailbreak.

It's because you need a bootrom exploit, if not userland/jailbreakme.com it's your only jailbreak....
