Ultrasn0w 1.2.4 For iOS 5 Released [Unlock iPhone]
As promised, iPhone Dev team have released an updated version of Ultrasn0w for iOS 5.
Ultrasn0w 1.2.4 can now be installed on a jailbroken iPhone running iOS 5. Dev team hasn't added support to any new baseband so it will be compatible with basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00 for iPhone 3GS and baseband 01.59.00 for iPhone 4.

It is looking like game cat and mouse is over for unlockers.. Only saved his BB 1.59.00 can be unlocked..Is that Apple's WIN or hackers LOOS!?

Will they ever be able to add baseband 05.16.02 to it?

Why dont the unlockers from ultrasn0w work harder? They need to get unlocks out for the ones that are needed now rather than the old ones that no one cares about. I am running on 04.11.08 pls unlock.

Jailbreak won't work. On 3gs new bootrom, updated with no baseband and go to jailbreak and it fails at reboot. Any ideas?

To be honest all I care about at this point is for a unthedered jailbreak. Sadly i can't update my iPhone 4 and specially for my iPad 2 until this jailbreak is made. I'll wait a bit longer for thy iOS5 :(

hi all to those still dreaming of unlocking your iphone with baseband other than the ones that are mentioned above, go get an UNLOCK iphone and get rid of yr existing LOCKED iphone for good. do not waste time waiting for any miracle k. time to do it right now and stop all the crying and balls squeezing.

Thats what I did the last three times (3gs 4 & 4s ) Got the 4s in Glasgow today £499 unlocked however there are no markings on the 4s to indicate it is an 4s side by side cant tell them apart a small 4s on the back like they done with the 3gs would have been good

What about Gevey Sim, does it work on official new iOS 5?

So does it also work for IPhone 3G. Cause I'm having this battery drain issue with 4.2.1? Im saying in the article it only mention iPhone 3G once. Was that a mistake?

To answer everyones question about the Gevey working on iOS5 Offical. The Gevey will not work with New Baseband thats comes with offical iOS5. The only way Gevey works if you use Sn0wbreeze for windows and use a Custom iOS5 with preserved baseband. I have iPhone 4 on iOS5 with Baseband 02.10.04 and it works with Gevey Ultra.

Okay.. so since all the iPhone 4S’s are the same and dual mode, and Sprint is SIM unlocking iPhone 4S's.. Sprint should be able to unlock an AT&T iPhone 4S for example and make it factory unlocked? Can someone clarify on this.

Nope will not work. What they mght end up doing is putting a lock for other US carrier but open to Carrier Aboard just like Verzion's Droid Global 2

The best and easiest way to distinguish the difference between 4 and 4S is the antenna bands on the side ;)

gevey sim works only if you preserve your baseband and use a custom firmware and i would say use snowbreeze for this as using the hacktivate my imessage and facetime activated which it wouldnt do using redsnow

So what can a person with a Verizon iPhone 4, jailbroken with Greenpoison (untethered), running IOS 4.2.6, and the 1.0.06 baseband do? I will only do an untethered update to IOS5. Is there any hope for me???

The 4s is both cdma & GSM. Will you be able to flash it to a different cdma network?

Btw. my 3GS is unlocked (neverlock) so I just need an untethered jailbreak, no unlock.

Nope It doesnt seem to work for me I have the iphone 3gs and I downloaded the jg software went through it all and in the end it said done but now im just a a screen with all these configs. on it and it is just stalling.What should I do?
