I have an ipod 4 touch running OS 4.3.5. It is on a tethered jailbreak. Should I go ahead and update to 5 and just use that tethered jailbreak? Is there any significant improvements in v.5?

I just jailbreaked my iphone 4 using redsnow 0.9.9b8 to jailbreak 5.0.1 beta but ended up using ios 5.0. Now I cannot get mail on my iphone. The mail server is not responding. How do I fix this.Neither Gmail or Hotmail accounts work for me. Thanks.

i just jb my iphone 3gs with red snow 0.9.9b8 of ios5.0.1. after jb when it reboots, it stuck off just after apple logo and a symbol of loading comes but doesn't load...iphone continues to show this screen and doesn't start.please help........

I have an old iPhone 3gs that I want to jailbreak, but every time I try, it tells me I can't do an untethered install, but I don't want to. I'm not sure where that option is or if I'm doing something wrong. Do I need an active SIM card for this to work? Or can I jailbreak an old phone that has an old SIM card in it? IDEALLY, I'd like to sell it unlocked and jailbroken, but not sure how to go about doing that. I"M SO LOST!!!

I really do not understand why a solid jailbreak has not been done yet, as I search relentlessly everyday. I am not going to hook this phone up to the computer when it shuts down. I am surprised because there are jail broken apps that I have paid for and I don't understand why the people who have benefited from this financially are not doing something about it. This iPhone is good but not great, and I have an upgrade available, I might as well get android so I can do what I have been lacking since I updated my phone thinking from all the talk that a jailbreak would be only a few days away, I mean a real jailbreak. This sucks.

Hey for all you jailbreaker out there who know how to create software why dont you try to creating a software to trick ios 5 into thinking it running on a older verison to then use a old untether jailbreak

I think someone know how to unlock the i phone but there a just a dominant assh*le keeping it to them self i hope they take it to the grave with them, f*ck unlock and f*ck all who knows how to do it and wont tell.
