you better save your 5.0.1 shah blobs with tiny umbrella while still can. also keep an eye on ifaith tool, who knows if they will release support for 4s that would safe aptickets apart from saving shah blobs. too bad it still doesn't support A5 chip yet.

A little harsh there Christian. A lot of people, myself included, picked up an Ipad 2 just a little too late. Had I the opportunity I would have not updated so that I could jailbreak. That said, with 5.01. there isn't as much reason to JB as there has been in the past. Don't get me wrong, as soon as I can jailbreak my iPad 2 I will do so, but I have been very pleased with it in "stock" form.

if apple closes all the loopholes then why not 1. snoop on how itunes talks to the ios devices and then reverse engineer the protocols.2. if the ios device's drive uses a partition then try rewriting the partition like you would do with disk utility to restore a drive.3. if you can forge the apple's signatures like you would to cash a check then you could sign the updates.
