I'm one of those stupid idiots who has a perfectly good iPhone 4 but put in a shoe box under my bed and got a iPhone 4s. I've forgotten how fun life is with a jailbroken device. Even with Siri and the ability to carry all my music on one device without having to pick which playlist to download doesn't make up for what a jailbroken device can do. I just sit n wait and doodle with my app store apps. No andriod lock, no bitesms, no winterboard, no inifidock, nor sbsetting to make my life easyier. I just do like most crack heads in rehab: deal with it. If this code jockey releases a jailbreak then kool, i get my my3g app back and can watch my favorite youtube vid's in HD, and he gets a $20 in the donation bucket. If not..... meh. Go out, live your lives. Don't let the apocalypse and judgement day go buy with you waiting by iPhone hacks for a jailbreak update. If or when he releases it, celebrate cuz its 1999 again.

Pretty sad,but I feel you. We all miss our jailbreak and freedom. Unfortunately ,it will only get worst . Democracy and freedom Is a utopia .Freedom of speech,privacy ,all will be gone slowly after 2012.Total control of your phone(jailbreak ) is only a small part of it. It will be gone as well.Now even if pod2g release the beast,you will still have half of the freedom of past jailbreak.Many old apps will not work. You will have to purchase to update,there is no such thing as free.The hacking knowledge will only be own by a select few,who will try to make maximum profit. Many good news iPhone blogs are owned by apple,and many talented jailbreak creator are in the payroll of apple . The objectif of apple is to bring a maximum iPhone user back home,to a legit untra restricted iOS .They are trying all strategy to get people to update to ios5.01 or beyond.I updated mine by accident after trying install Siri .When I see the size of the download I cancel it after 10 sec,then reboot my phone . Then I never could boot again,I had to update to 5.01. They' have many other cunning tactic out of their sleeves.

Today January 13 of year 2012.A tsunami devastated the cost of chile and the flood is reaching the Argentinian pampa. There is earthquake everywhere at this moment .Apple corporation dismissed all it's employees and announce that they will not release update anymore ,its everyone for himself,the end of the world,no one care about ios 5 anymore .But pod2g,our savior, is still working to make it perfect .He uploaded his 10th demo on YouTube for ios 5.5. He said " There is a chance that maybe,it's possible ,that I might maybe soon,sometime release around next chrismas ,be patient .

5.0.1(9A405) and NOT the (9A406). Download the OS and don't get it directly from Apple. The (9A406) will update your baseband to 1.0.14 and you want to stay at 1.0.13 for future unlock.
