Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 To Unlock iPhone 4 And iPhone 3GS Running iOS 5.0.1 With Older Basebands Released
As promised, iPhone Dev team have released an updated version of Ultrasn0w for iOS 5.0.1.
Ultrasn0w 1.2.5 can now be installed on a jailbroken iPhone running iOS 5.01. Dev team hasn't added support to any new baseband so it will be compatible with basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01, 05.13.04, and 06.15.00 for iPhone 3GS and baseband 01.59.00 for iPhone 4. You can find your iPhone’s baseband by going to Settings –> General -> About –> Modem Firmware.

Awesome - any ETA of when the 4.11.08 baseband will be unlocked?
-
Job well done!!!!
-
Neverrr
-
wow and they didnt tease us with this one. I dont remember seeing them put out a new video every day just to show it was possible. But somehow, this unlock came before pod2g's jailbreak.
-
why would they only release it for an older baseband if there isnt any proof that the hack works why would people give up there hack on ios4
-
Still tethered?
-
Friday Saturday release for untethered 5.0.1.

Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Sooooo much!!! Finally able to use my iPhone 4. Without the hassle of 112 unlock. It's working flawless on iPhone 4 BB 01.59.00. Thank you once again!!!!!
-
u keep working on old firmware . But not 4.10.01! Pls make any tool to unlock my phone pls!
-
what about 04.11.08
-
The part about older basebands refers to 3gs only; not iphone 4.
-
Those of us having newer baseband should just give up and keep using the stupid gevey sim. Its been a year since any newer baseband added. The Dev Team should really focus their energy on newer bb! Whats the point of keep updating the old one.
-
can anyone answer my question please. thank you. ^
-
People with older basebands need new firmware compatibility too! I'm so happy they released this, and 5 days before they said they would! I can finally ditch 4.3.3 and move up to 5.0.1. Good job dev-team!!! Oh and I can confirm it works on 3GS with 6.15 baseband.

How about the 4.11.08 baseband
-
iphone hacks.... can you answer that question.^
-
4.11.08 is NOT unlockable @ this time... neither via software or hardware.
-
Still no 2.10, 3.10, 4.10
-
NO, they cant even navigate us properly in settings to find Modem Firmware ( not that I need them to, just sayin' ). It's not Settings –> About –> Modem Firmware as stated in the article... rather, Settings –> General -> About –> Modem Firmware.

im runing 04.10.01 iphone 4 , so i gotta wait for pod2g!!!!
-
Who is your carrier? I'm trying with 3GS 5.0.1, BB 6.15.00, with T-Mo and get No Service with two SIM cards.
-
Just update with 5.0.1 - Jailbreaked with Redsn0w and activated/unlocked with ultrasn0w 1.2.5 (it wasn't locked at all, but wouldn't find service. Done all "by the book" twice, but still no service, just searching for 2 hours now ?????HELP !!!!!!!!!PLEASE
-
same here Russ.

Stick a regular Att sim into it and it should work at first then do a respring with other sim ( Tmobile or choice sim). It should work flawlessly. Unless your bb is not compatible with ultraslow. Check your base band.

What is your hardware. Ip4 ip3gs?

Whats the point ?I dont know why people buy iphone after 3gs ?From torture themselves with Gevay or what ?I began to be sick of looking the sites and waiting for some sign from heaven. That is prob aproved from Apple !Like all others Crap and time to put hacks on the net. It is usually connected with the release of a new phone and usually has links to fire the public as much to buy a new phone and again and again and with no End .Sorry for my English .
-
if you have an unlock on the 3gs with 6.15.00, will you lose it updating firmware while preserving your baseband?
-
never!!! buy an unlock iphone
-
if I have a 3gs unlocked on 4.1 fw and 06.15.00 bb, then can I update to 5.0.1 while preserving my baseband without losing my unlock?
-
4.10.01 has a hardware base unlock.. it's called GEVEY PRO. Dont get the Gevey supreme or ultra. Gevey Pro is the only stable one that i have come across.
