dude.. i had done some research about all of this.. my situation just same with you alls iphone 3gs lock 6.15.00 baseband... so.. what make my method work are.. first i preserve baseband via latest redsnow.. then clean restore with itunes. then jb it with redsnow.. after all the refreshing repos.. just install ultrasnow 1.2.5 from cydia then reboot.. then insert simcard and.. wallaaaa..now running like normal.. happy new year to us all.. :)))

AWESOME. jailbroke on ios 5.01 while maintaining baseband and then unlocked my phone! fyi, i have an iphone 4 baseband 1.59. i have a question though: on ios 5.01, we can now update the software wirelessly. does this update automatically? i am afraid its gonna update my firmware. thanks in advance!

hi there im after some help. my girlfriend recently bought me a pre owned i phone 3gs 32gb it was locked to orange so she hed it unlocked for me in a local shop. the trouble is the bloke in the shop forgot to mention that i couldnt update the software at any point.anyway when i plugged in and went on i tunes it said upgrade software to ios 5. i did this and now my phone wont work properly it says unable to activate. and also says on the computer that i have no sim installed. can some one help me get my phone working again. i dont know what i need to download to get it back to how it was. thanks in advance

my 3Gs still shows "no service". What went wrong?my 3Gs is running on iOS 5.01.basebands 06.15.00 and jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.10.then I installed UntrasnOw 1.2.5. It suppose to work with any sim from any carrier, right?It doesn't work with any sim not even it's own carrier. Please help. ..... Thank you!
