Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak For iPhone 4S And iPad 2 Progress Report
Few days back, pod2G revealed that the jailbreak "Dream Team" had managed to successfully break the sandbox that had prevented pod2g from releasing the untethered jailbreak publicly.
This meant that the release of the eagerly awaited untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 users was imminent. pod2g said that it should be released in a "matter of days".

Well i dont like the comment about not updating to 5.0.1!!!!!!!I know he is referring to iPhone 4s owners but does he not mean iPad2 owners aswell ????Last week Pod2g stated that iPad2 and iPhone 4s owners should update to 5.0.1 ready for the jailbreak !!I have now updated my iPad 2 to 5.0.1 and waiting anxiously for the jailbreak, are you now telling me that the jailbreak wont work on my iPad 2 !!!

You should be fine. Pod2G said to update for jailbreak. Musclenerd said not to update for unlockers. Jail breaking should be fine.

Apparently what you're not reading is that you shouldn't update if you NEED CARRIER UNLOCK. And unless you're new to jailbreaking you should've known that already because it's mentioned EVERY single time a new JB release is about to happen.

I would definitely agree that rush job = unstability. Even the current jailbreak for i4 is quite unstable and mobile substrate crashes quite often. So better to iron out as many crashes as possible. Moreover, somehow I feel that apple is waiting for this jailbreak to be released before they release 5.02 or 5.1 since they have never taken this long between a beta and a final release. Would others agree?

I'm sure the amount of actual users of jail breaking tools that donate versus those that don't is very very small.. Many many jail breakers are doing it for one thing only .. piracy ... You really think the ones that won't pay 99 cents for an app are going to donate? I'd honestly be shocked if more than 2% of the community donates.
