Couple of days back, the jailbreak "Dream Team" showed us the video of a successfully jailbroken iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1.
If you had any doubts about an jailbreak for iPad 2 the photos below should put those concerns to rest. pod2g briefly published a photo of a jailbroken iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1 running Cydia. pod2g didn't say much in his blog post. He wrote:

Strangely, pod2g has removed the blog post. It's not clear what was the reason for removing the blog post.

to be honest .. I'd wait 6 to 8 more weeks on the off chance that the iPad 3 is released and the vulnerability still exist in the iPad 3 and 5.1 OS.Thats just me though. I'm willing to wait for perfection :P
