Thanks for the info. Downloading OTA right now.
-
You wont be able to JB it
-
Damn it, need the battery fixes, but not giving up my 4s jailbreak!
-
since im jailbroken i will have to wait for this update, but i would like to know what does it mean by Updated AT&T network indicator?
-
I don't jb my phone so it doesn't matter to me.
-
How's the battery life folks?
-
then youre stupid:D
-
I'd like to know this too, but its probably a bit to soon to be asking. If it is a good improvement, i will have to give up my jailbreak.
-
Uh...i'm not stupid and plus I hate jb'ing my phone. I've done it before and never liked it.
-
Exactly how I feel!
-
Does Siri support Canada now?????????
-
Only thing I'm really interested in is battery life, but I can go a whole day without charging if I baby it lol so I'll wait to update til the jailbreak is made :)
-
Downloading it now. Download took about 10 min and it shows Preparing Update as I submit this.Don't care for JBing. JB'd my iPad and restored it afterward.Pretty quick and painless update so far.
-
I keep getting an error after it says "preparing update" on my iPhone 4.The error says "Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading OS 5.1"
-
Nice, now let's see how long it takes to jb... And now wait for the jb for iPad 3 and iOS 6 as it is already in testing..... I hope the dream team has enough steam in the tank!!!!!!,

Some of the new Apple Apps require IOS 5.1. Keynote for sure does.

Well, my iPhone now says 4G instead of 3G. I wonder how it is determined. I just ran a speedtest and barely got over 1 Mbps. I don't consider that 4G. Last month I actually got 6 Mbps over AT&T's network. Still not what I would consider 4G though.
-
Why would they want to do that?
-
Because its apples second largest market dumb ass
-
What a moron.

FYI, this is handy for those who don't want an extra badge hanging around soonhttp://www.iphonehacks.com/2011/11/how-to-clear-the-ota-update-badge-on-settings-app.html~FJ

It's changed because ATT wanted it changed. It'll now say 4g if you're connected to ATT's HSPA+ 14.4mbps network, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be fast. I was getting faster speeds on 3g last year compared to this year. Their network is just congested. When LTE is finally available, we'll see better speeds.

Even iPhoto does
-
Apple TV got iOS 5
-
Wow just updated and it has given me Siri on my iPhone 4.Thanks Apple, you're the best!
-
people who dont jailbreak because they think that their IOS device goes slower are ideots, ive never noticed my device got slower from jailbreaking, usauly the new IOS makes it slower, some games crashed like GTA3 on my ipad1 IOS 5, wen i downgraded it to IOS 4 , all the apps started woking, all the people who reviewed gta3 and had ipad1 IOS 5 said the app never work, so either u think its from the jailbreak( means your stupid), or its actualy fom the ios 5 its self

People have their own reasons for jailbreaking or not jailbreaking. I stopped jailbreaking since I got the 4s in October. There's really no reason for me to jailbreak.
