For me at my work coverage is spotty at best. When it searches for 3g it kills me battery life. While on edge it uses way less.

Yes, the 3G toggle is above celluar data switch.

It is toggle. Look at "network" section in settings. The 3G switch is there above "celluar data"

Switch it off. Now we have this possibility.

Not the same. Cell data do off all data. 3G off makes data slowly but available.

I want the battery to be updated, so it will decrease slowly instead of decreasing really fast! Because of this issue, I can't use my phone often. Please make another update for the battery!

I downloaded and installed the 5.1 update last night and noticed today that in many places around Dallas and DFW Airport I was on a 4G network. However, I don't know why but the connection when in 4G mode was slow to non-existent. It took simple webpages 45 seconds to a minute to load. Some apps that update their info (like Flight Tracker) just timed out because the server would not respond. So far, 4G sucks -- at least on the existing phones.

btw...I've never jail broken an iPhone, but every friend that does has 50 x's the glitches and problems than I do -- they have weird issues and frankly they deserve it. A few hard cord techno geeks always do it because they can, which seems to be the only real reason to do it...to prove your some bad ass who can do a better job than apple.

I downloaded and installed the 5.1 update last night and noticed the camera button that is avalible in lock mode doesn't work .I have the new 4gs iphone.Aple should test there upgrades before unleashing faulty softwear on the rest of us

I am having trouble activating my iPhone 3gs after the iOS 5.0.1 upgrade! I got a this iPhone 3GS from amozan it was jailbreak with iso 4.1. yesterday i upgrade it through itune iso 5.0.1I have been reading forums and watching videos all day but nothing seems to work even i try to restore custom-ios 5.0.1 while restoring it shows some error like 1604.If there's anything you can do to help i would be very grateful! 5.1 didnt fix anything with battery life, in fact, it's worse for me. I didn't have a problem before 5.1, and now, I go to sleep with 100% power then wake up to a completely dead phone. 4G is a total joke btw. I almost always have no data connection at all and when I do, it's slow. I WISH I had a 3G toggle - this blows. At least with 3G I always seemed to be able to get connected. 5.1 is terrible. Don't upgrade if you haven't already.
