'iPhone 5' Mockup: Thinner, Taller 4-Inch Display, Metal Back Panel
Few days back, iLounge reported that according to their source, Apple's next generation iPhone will be thinner and come with a taller 4-inch Retina Display and a smaller dock connector.
According to iLounge, Apple will also add a metal panel in the central portion of the real shell of the new iPhone instead of the glass panel used in iPhone 4S and iPhone 4.

Whats with the ugly metal band back panel, i think if this were true it would at least be painted to colour match... (which i don't believe it is)

I just wish that the current 4:3 ratio is present with the larger screen. This ratio is perfect for reading contents imo.

Interesting. I think there is a bigger chance they will name it iPhone 5... At least compared to iPhone 6. But iPhone 4G.... Perhaps. Remember after iPhone 3GS they didn't called it iPhone 5 but iPhone 4.

Since Jobs is dead apple screw up naming their idevice. Ipad 3rd gen is called the new ipad. Iphone 6th generation will be called MePhone. Damn Im beginning to get sick of the iphone. They need to alter the icons on the iphone cuz its look like the same shiet as Since release in 2007.

I disagree, that's what is great about the iPhone, they add new features and it's intuitive because it seamlessly integrates with an OS you already know, there is no learning curve between generations unlike droid where every damn phone looks and behaves differently

Doesn't matter what this looks like, it's a mockup by people not remotely connected with Apple. I may as well doodle a mockup on some toilet paper in my own faeces and submit it to this page and people will get excited. What is the point of posting this nonsense? Years of this site posting mockups and none ever come close. Slow news day today? So this is why they could call it 4G. Just like they called the 2nd phone a 3G. It had nothing to do with what generation it is. The iPhone 4 it he only one that stood for what generation it is. The first iPhone maybe cause they just called it the iPhone but most people now call it the 2G iPhone. Confusing A. Eh, not really.

I know it's easier for them to make it taller to make it bigger but that looks and would feel like crap to me and this Phone here would be very disappointing. If its gonna be like that then just keep the smaller screen IMO.
