How To Jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS on iOS 5.1.1 Using Redsn0w
Apple released iOS 5.1.1 last week, which includes some minor improvements and bug fixes.
iPhone Dev team has released a new version of Redsn0w - Redsn0w 0.9.11b4 that supports iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch 4G and iPod Touch 3G.
But if you've upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 and want to jailbreak your iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS then you can follow this step by step procedure to jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 5.1.1 using Redsn0w.

i try to jailbrake my iphone 4. ios 5.1.1, but before the jailbrake is done, it resprings and it start on original iphone activation screen. try to downgrade with tiny umbrella and itunes, but when tu regognize my phone, it says cant connect to itunes :-(. any advice???

I'm having the same problem except i didnt down grade. I use the proper jailbreak, tried a number of times and it keeps rebooting to the apple logo shortly after sending it to DFU mode. Any ideas of what i can try? I am still fairly new to the jailbreaking scene. Please help.

i tried many different versions of redsn0w, but all with the same result, i using bb 04.12.01, pls guys give me some advice what to do, bf update i was on ios 5.1 and jailbrake works fine.

the problem is, jailbreak cant be finish, when i try to "only reboot" it start also on the iphone activation screen. i had the phone running on ios 5.1 (jailbroken), acidently updated to 5.1.1, now cant jailbrake anymore.

I've been having a had time on restarting my iPod 4g after jailbreak, im doin the tethered Jb to replace the white cydia icon but redsnow is always crashing after 5sec that I release the home button.
